Divan

Divan beds consist of a base and mattress (headboards are not included). We supply a full range of divans, many of which are available direct from stock. One of the advantages of divans is that the base can incorporate drawers and provides an ideal place to store bed linen and other bulky items. In effect, divans can be turned into storage beds with drawers. We provide a full range of storage options to fit all sizes of divan beds. Bases

Sprung edge

Traditionally all divans had springs in the base and this type of 'sprung edge' base is still a firm favourite offering enhanced levels of support and comfort. The construction of this type of base is generally a hard wood skeletal frame with hard board on the top and a layer of springs and covered in a quilted material.

Platform top

However, the 'platform top' base which has a solid and sometimes padded lid, will make the mattress feel firmer and generally offers a cheaper option. The construction of this type of base is generally a hard wood skeletal frame with hard board on the top and covered in a quilted material.

Divan sizes

Odd sizes are available from certain manufacturers, so please ask.

Zip and Link

Zip and link is a divan available in kingsize and super kingsize. These are two individual beds which are zipped by the mattresses and linked by the bases.
